Today we’ve shared a great variety of posts from our OWLS members that explore what Fantasy means to them. Matt talks about the comfort that original characters (OCs) give the creators, Fred looked at a wide spectrum of fantasy media that showcased it as escapism and way of exploration, and Shay made a video looking at some of the fantasy elements in shoujo that may or may not lead us to real-life…embarrassing situations (we won’t ask, but if you all want to tell…).
And last on today’s list, but certainly not least, is our mecha-expert Scott who talks about Flying Witch and some of the lessons that we can learn from it. Have you watched this series yet?
If there is a lesson to Flying Witch, it’s magic is everywhere. Including everyday things. Just because you do something all the time doesn’t mean that it’s not magic for everyone else. I mean, modern technology is magical to anyone from history.
